Kitten Behaviour Kitten Behaviour After First Vaccination?

Kitten behaviour after first vaccination? - kitten behaviour

My kitten 10 weeks were first vaccine, on Saturday (I think it was) cat flu. She seemed well on it, but not even on Sunday. She slept almost all day and was not at all playful. She seems good today. Fatigue is normal after the shots?

my cat do the same after the flu shot. I think it is light flu-like symptoms in humans after receiving his flu waves. If it does not pick up, or even worse in a week, to return to the vet. Take my cats symptoms usually about a week later is in order. It is never the food, or even worse, as such, just tired.

Yes ...
A vaccine is a weakened form of the disease to activate the immune system to produce antibodies against the disease. Symptoms of colds and flu are common after vaccination.

do not worry.
The kittens are schizophrenic, that's what makes them lovable.

Yes, for 24-48 hours at any time .... from my lethargy a cat receives the blow, I'm home the next day because they do not want to eat, drink or move. takes about 24 hours. but his brother had no reaction.

My cat was the same, should be aware that if it can in the points that are fun and then sleep all day and not wake up until you prod. Verify that your belly is not allergic too hot, if not eat, drink or go to the litter box as usual, back to the vet, who is something in the vaccine. 3 days after vaccination are always a little doubtful. Even more important is whether this is the first vaccine that is a shock to the system, and compassion for yourself for a while.

When in doubt, ask. Better safe than sorry.

Yes,
A vaccine fools the body into an attack (fight against a virus), so that your poor cat feels as if you had the flu.
But then it will heal, and to his normal state, but less likly to catch a real virus ;-)

As a person often feels bad once they have a vaccine against influenza. :-(

Yes, it is common for pets, a little more sleep after their shots. Not only the first. I am surprised that the vet does not make you be aware of.

What about my cat after the first vaccination. When taken to the vet to get the second dose, suggested that we give separate deal for a week, what we have done. It went well, and "No, I have no problem at all.

It was probably what lets you know he was not happy to draw the vets and punch! I hate cats, who have no other choice, what they do!
